Brad Byrd - Into The Big Idea (Official Music Video)

https://fanlink.to/BradByrd Truth be told I wrote this song over 10 years ago while living on the Northshore of MA, but we decided to cut it live as a band in the studio last year. It rings ever more true to me today. It's a song about change and embracing a new start, a new day, and heading into the unknown embracing new ideas for positive change and compassion while letting go of old ideas and a broken system. Huge thanks to everyone involved in the making of this video. Originally David Doobinin and I discussed some ideas that evolved into this "Mad Max meets Boys of Summer" vibe that we were quite pleased with. Co-directing, and being on another coast again for this video, made it a challenge but also added a new perspective to the process that seems to be working with our film making endeavors to date. I often reference Dave as the next "Cameron Crow" as he has this really unique indie film making quality yet is also a musician himself. I always try to have a blue print or script to work off when it comes to filmmaking, but I also know when to let go and let it be what it wants to be throughout the process. It was shot June 10th on a super hot day at Giant Rock in Landers, CA. A full 12 hour day shoot and yes we were all social distancing and wearing masks! We were very fortunate to have my buddy and talented DP @KurtBraun behind the camera on this one, he really worked his ass off to get these shots and we are grateful to have him aboard for this project.
